We have been using Nikwax products since day one (26 th March 1986) and have found them to be totally reliable, dependable and effective. Today’s Nikwax treatments contain environmentally friendly elastic water-repellent polymers that bond to fabric fibres, leaving the spaces between open and breathable. These stretchy polymers are able to stretch and move with the fabric so they stay put for longer and work better. Nikwax treatments will not change the look or feel of the fabric and they are all water based, environmentally safe, non-flammable and contain no nasty Fluorocarbons. Nikwax products can be used to clean, re-proof and revitalise all your outdoor technical clothing and equipment. The Zeta FL will be a little trimmer than the Zeta SL. The fit is similar but not exactly the same. We do offer a great return policy so it’s always possible to return the item free of charge if needs be. Values are always for size M and for men's, except women's-only items. Zippers: The pants are loaded with zippers, which I loved. A front zipper and waist snap make these the easiest pants to get on and off that I’ve ever worn. No more struggling to pull up rain pants over shorts or other underlayer. And three-quarter-length leg zippers make these a dream for pulling on or off over boots and trail runners.

What We Like

The Zeta SL truly excels as a hill walking piece in the unpredictable UK weather; but, due to it's next to skin comfort and light weight, also works just as well as an emergency shell as it does an all day mountain piece. Although the Zeta SL is a serious product with a lot to offer, there are a couple of aspects that could be improved.
