About this deal

Headphones deliver powerful bass, are more accurate to provide more detail, and excel in soothing genres like acoustic and classical. This is done via AAC HD audio codec to deliver the best stereo HIFI of all music styles in this price range. Noise Cancelation Technology Overall, QCY earplugs have a little more value as far as we're concerned. For example: QCY has its own app in which you determine which functionality the different buttons and touch controls have. The Edifier X3 TWS earbuds are really easy to put on and wear. Once it’s in place, no amount of headbang will get it out, and that’s a good thing. I did not need to change the earpiece, but if you have smaller or larger ears, there are spare ones in the box for you to get your right fit. Not often have we seen earplugs that seal so well in your ear. The passive noise canceling of this Edifier X3 is very good. But that also means that you hear your own voice less well. And that is inconvenient when calling.

You can be understood by the person you are calling. Let's put that first. Although not in detail, the words can be distinguished for your conversation partner. The bottom of the charging case is flat for easy stability and contains information including the product, model, charging information, battery capacity, and other information. Earphones My current day to day headphones are the AirPods and they take a fair bit of punishment throughout the day. With a slightly boosted bass and prominent vocals, the Edifier X3 is a good sounding allrounder suitable for most music genres. Good thing is, it does come with touch gestures so you don’t need to fumble with your phone for media controls. That being said, the touch gestures are missing controls for volume level, but you’re already getting most of the controls you’d want. In terms of accuracy, I have no complaints as each touch is registered accurate and immediate. The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which will bring added benefits to your listening experience if the device that you are connected to supports Bluetooth 5.0, such as better range and performance. The Edifier X3 earpieces feel sturdy as well. They are round on the inside, and while they're not necessarily bigger than more bean-shaped Haylou GT1 Plus and SoundPEATS TrueDot, they fill up your ears more. They feel larger, but not too large. The X3 has a comfortable, tight fit. One downside is their blue LED-lights also blink when you're playing music, which makes it annoying to use these in bed. The charging case has a 500mAh battery that will enable you to listen for a whopping 15 hours! There’s enough juice to last you a fair few days. And whilst we’re on the subject of battery life.

The ear tips of the Edifier X3 are better than the ear tips of, for example, QCY. But not as good as foam ear tips. These are earpieces (attachments) made of foam material and they slowly expand in your ear. The sound quality is excellent. The X3 earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 and the Qualcomm aptX codec, delivering CD-quality sound with good bass and crystal clear audio, all without any stutter or delay. And here we have tried to place it in a table. Actually, we did that to clarify for ourselves which functions the touch actually has. But the longer we look at the table, the more dizzy we get. In other aspects, the TO-U is the same as the regular X3. It has an impressive 6 hours battery life on a single charge and can be recharged three times via the case. The total charging time of an empty case and empty buds takes around 1,5 hours. To control Edifier X3 there is a high-precision touchpad on the top of the earphone handle which can achieve precise control with highly responsive touch sensitivity. The control consists of turning on / off the headphones, answering / keeping / rejecting a call, turning on / off the music, waking up the voice assistant, and other operations but does not have the function of customizing touch or increasing and reducing volume. The bass on the Edifier X3 gives a nice thump that can pulsate in your ears and delivers enough power to pump up the music. In pop, modern dance music and hip-hop, it's definitely possible to feel the bass slam. Yet, it doesn't force itself in front in music that doesn't ask for it. Whichever genre you're listening, there's an enjoyable bass amount - including sub-bass depths when asked for. Another plus: their LED-lights don't blink when you play music on them, so it's comfortable to use these in the dark or the bedroom. The Mid-range I’d describe as sounding balanced. They aren’t perfect but they aren’t terrible either. I think clarity has been enhanced with Edifier’s custom driver tuning. This tuning has, in the past on other headphones made certain sound frequencies sound unnatural, but with the X3’s they are perfectly balanced in my opinion. Tai nghe Edifier X3 sử dụng chipset Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0 với công nghệ tiết kiệm năng lượng tăng thời gian sử dụng. Đồng thời đảm bảo khả năng truyền tải tín hiệu ổn định.

Unfortunately, there is a slight audio delay of about 0.5 seconds when playing games, which is almost normal, and you can find it on most wireless headphones in this price range. Edifier X3Battery And Charging Time The Edifier X3 fit snugly in the ear immediately. As a result, they are extremely comfortable in short stints and don’t fatigue the ears in longer sessions. Taking the buds out of the charging case for the first time, they immediately switch to pairing mode, which speedily connects to the device of your choice. Edifier always impress me with the sound quality they manage to squeeze out of their devices. And overall I’m really quite surprised how good these are! Microphone Quality I love Edifier’s audio gear. It’s great quality and their audio equipment always does what they say it’ll do. They’re no if’s, but’s or maybes, it just works.

The Edifier X3 TWS sounds the best when listening to acoustic and pop. It can be used to listen to EDM and hip-hop, but you might want to dial down the volume when you do. As for the earbuds themselves, they have a low profile design to them. This means they’re thin enough that they won’t jut out too much from your ears. They have the same matte texture as the charging case, and they’re extremely light (4.8g each). That being said, they don’t feel cheap at all. Every word from our editor is understandable, yes. But is it good enough for video conferencing? No. Often times, people who are going to use earplugs for business want a better microphone than this.

By now, you should know I’m a big fan of audio freedom, and that means no cables at all when it comes to audio enjoyment. The Edifier X3 TWS earbuds caught my attention because of its price and features. Edifier was kind enough to send us a unit for review, we tried it for a week and here’s our thoughts on the Edifier X3. Considering its price, the sound quality on the Edifier X3 was actually pretty good. The earbuds are equipped with Qualcomm® aptX™ audio decoding technology and SBC codec support which are designed to improve Bluetooth sound quality.

Can you use the Edifier TWS1 for phone calls?

Each of the earbuds has been granted an IP55 waterproof rating. Which, basically means they’ll be absolutely fine if you get caught in the rain when you’re out on your daily run. But, things with an IP55 waterproof rating shouldn’t be submerged completely in water. The Earbuds look great inside the X3 Charging case What’s in the Edifier X3 Box? One downside is that at lower volumes, the bass was not as present. However, as you increase the volume, you will be able to hear some bass creeping in – thankfully, the Edifier X3 gets plenty loud. Edifier X3: Battery Performance When it comes to the microphone, it has a built-in mic with CVC 8.0 noise reduction technology. In our test, it performed fine but if you’re in a really noisy environment, the person on the other end might not be able to hear you that well. For the visually impaired you may find it easier to listen to the blog rather than have your screen reader read it aloud. The Edifier X3 Review has been recorded as a podcast for you to enjoy at your leisure and to make our blog as accessible as possible.
